We had a picnic lunch by the river at the MCRD (Marine Core Recruiting Depot).
Next, we suited up for kayaking . . . but not before some pretend martial arts fighting.
Getting this crew out on the water was a little tricky, but we finally got in.
At first, Charlito was not too sure about kayaking. He didn't realize the canal was only about 3-5 foot deep in most places.
Oselle just LOVED it right away and took off with her dad, uncle Jordan.
Amara and Christian tried hard to keep up with them.
Finally Jordan went back to help Charlito and make him feel more comfortable.
Finally Charlito warmed up to the idea and began to enjoy himself.
Aleya and I had a fun time floating around taking pictures of everyone.
