What could be better than a Mermaid Birthday Party? How about a double birthday party with Amara's cousin, Oselle?
We had some seafood. Lobster, crab, dolphin, and starfish . . . fruit.
We had to have some pizza.
Yum . . . pineapple starfish!
It wasn't the warmest day, but the kids still had fun in the pool.
Mostly, they hung out in the jacuzzi.
The kids batted at a pinata. Amara and Oselle made the pinata out of an old box and tissue papers. They decorated it themselves.
They kids all had two turns each.
Ultimately, Uncle Jordan had to whack it open. Then it was a candy frenzy.
Next, we had snowcones.
We topped the party off with a lovely mermaid cake, created by Aunt Mercedes.
Amara's favorite present was a new red scooter!
