I can't think of a better thing to do than to spend a summer day with wonderful friends. Spending the day with them at Seaworld is even better.
Atlantis was the favorite ride for the day. The boys all returned in the evening to ride it several more times.
Off to the next show. Seaworld is all about their entertaining shows. You have to schedule everything precisely to squeeze it all in . . . and walk swiftly.
The Shamu show always takes the cake!
It is by far the most spectacular show at Seaworld. Who doesn't love Shamu?
After years and years of attending Seaworld . . . we had a special treat. Well, Orrin did, anyway.
Orrin was selected out of the crowd piling into the stadium to participate in the show and meet Shamu. First, he fed him some ice.
Then he stroked his fin.
He fed him some fish, as well. He received a whale fin necklace as a reward.
He also had his mug plastered on the huge screen.
Way to go, Orrin! What an incredible and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
He had a good day.
We all had a fantastic and memorable day.
Our boys enjoyed hanging out with their long-time friends David and Jacob.
Aleya loved meeting Elmo again. What does Elmo have to do with Seaworld, you ask? Well, Sesame Street is the theme for the children's play area there.
We had such a wonderful time it zapped every last ounce of energy out of my kids . . . except Joseph, who was at the time still riding Atlantis over and over with David and Jacob.
