Every other year, BYU Football comes to San Diego to verse the Aztecs. We couldn't miss out on this! We even signed up to feast at the tailgate party organized by the local alumni chapter. Orrin chose to attend his neighbor friends' birthday party, instead, so Joseph brought his friend, Griffin, in Orrin's place.
There was indeed a large gathering of hungry BYU fans. It was so large, they moved the event from the parking lot to an ajoining grassy field.
The girls were excited to see the BYU cheerleaders and dancers when we arrived.
Look at all those darling girls!
Joseph insisted in bringing giant balloons into the stadium. They were confiscated by security. We had terrific seats this year, really close to the field and around the 30 yard line.
WOO HOO! The players charge onto the field.
B-Y-U! Let's GO-GO-GO!
The boys were having a great time! It was an awesome game with lots of touch-downs. BYU was victorious!
I can't think of a better place to be right now!
Our seats were close enough for the kids to run down and high 5 all the players following the game. These images are of Max Hall (QB) and Dennis Pitta (Tight End), our star players. Pitta will likely go to the NFL.
