Aleya and mommy went to the see the butterflies at the Wild Animal Park. A few weeks before there were hundreds of butterflies, but the line was a couple of hours long to see them. We caught the tail end of the action.

Amara decided to try softball this year. She played on her best friend, Lea's, team: G-force. In her first up to bat, she stood on home plate. Through some patient coaching, she eventually got the hang of it. She almost got a home run, one time.
Amara was late joining the team and didn't get her name on the poster.
Her favorite part of softball was all the cheers they chanted. They were always singing cheers even for the losing team.
Amara could sometimes be found dancing in the outfield (can't take the dancer out of her), but never during games.
Christian's parents are enjoying the time home with their kids and grandkids after a two-year mission to Texas.
Christian's parents arranged a family lunch and get together while we were visiting. There are so many of us, we can hardly all fit in their home anymore.
We were missing Siri and her family and Nathan and his family, but there was still a great turn-out. We cherish the time we spend with the family, since we live so far away.
Christian and I took Joseph and Orrin to General Conference in the Conference Center for the first time. We had pretty good seats. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir was heavenly in person. It was a very spiritual session and the boys listened intently. At they end, they waved at the prophet and he waved back at a us. They will never forget that experience.

Grandma Yates always has a fun project for the kids to do. This time it was painting Easter eggs. We hadn't had a chance to do that this year, so it was fun for the girls.
The boys always enjoy playing board games and such at Grandma and Grandpa Yates'.
Grandma hid eggs downstairs so the kids could have an egg hunt.
